Nuchal test results- confused and worried

Just wondered if anything has had a similar experience and could reassure me a little, please!

I am expecting twins and had my nuchal test a couple of weeks ago. According to my age, the risk is 1: 400.
My results for the twins have come back as follows:
Twin 1: 1 in 2100
Twin 2: 1 in 540

Twin 1s nuchal fluid measures 1.2 and Twin 2 measured 1.7/ Twin 2 is also smaller, I am not sure if this has any bearing on it?

I know these results are classed as low risk, and when I had my scan the sonographer said that with those measurements I really should not worry, but why is Twin 2s result so very different so different to Twin 1?

Has anyone had a similar experience?

I didn;t have a twin pregnancy (mine were conceived through ivf so DS was frozen for a bit) but:

DD risk 1 in 600, DS 1 in 2500. Both fine. It really is just that they are different babies. Those odds are very low though so please don't let it worry you.

My results with my twins 5 years ago were very similar to yours, and they are both fine...lunatics, but fine!! One of them was smaller than the other, and continued to be so until the age of one. Congratulations BTW twins ROCK!! x

I'd second azazello that they're different babies, nothing more than that. Both results look pretty good to me and at our most recent 12 week scan, the sonographer said that they wouldn't be concerned until between 3 and 3.5 for the fluid result. Bubs, now three months and shaping up to be a sumo-wrestler, had 1.7 as his fluid measurement, but all 4 of mine have had a different one. I guess your twins are showing you early on that they're two separate people!
