Hi there

I've never had a spray tan in my life before but am going to a friends wedding at the weekend & have got reflective legs!! I'd really like to have a spray tan just on my legs & the lady at the salon thinks it would be ok but does anyone have any experience of this at all?? I'm 12 weeks. Thanks

The NHS guidance for fake tan (which I presume covers professional spray tans too) says you should avoid it BUT only because your skin is more sensitive and might react badly, NOT because it might harm the baby.

Here.

Personally I have used the moisturiser with fake tan in products and had no skin reaction to that.

Probably makes sense to test a small area of skin first before getting it done all over your legs.

oh that's really helpful, thanks very much

you're right a patch test first sounds a good idea, otherwise it might backfire & I'll end up at the wedding looking hideous!!

thanks again

I've never had a spray tan either but my only thought (givent he NHS advice) would be whether you breathe in any fumes getting a spray tan? Probably not.
