anyone else have a twin pregnancy??!?!

Hi everyone!

My husband and I recently found out on an early dating scan (like, very early, 5+ weeks) that we are expecting twins. We're being re scanned in 2 weeks time to confirm, but I'm wondering if anyone else is expecting twins. It's our first pregnancy so we're abit in awe of the thought, but wouldn't it be good to start a thread on twins so we could exchange advice, support etc. Looking forward to hearing from you! x

Hi Tabby, well, I am a twin and all I have heard from the people we have told is 'it might be twins'! I'll let you know in a few weeks time! All I will say from personal experience is don't refer to them as the twins, be careful about Christmas and birthdays, my sister and I have always been very different but always got identical gifts, it is bad enough sharing your big day let alone getting the same stuff! My dad even ruined my wedding day by constantly insisting on photos with my sister - think I have more of her and I than I do of hubby and I!!!

Sorry, don't mean to put a downer on your news, just remember good chance they will be no more similar than any other siblings in personality even when you cant tell them apart!

Hi im new to this site and joined because i too am expecting twins. I am currently almost 30 wks pregnant and carying non id twin boys and cant wait!
