i went to spain when i was 16 weeks with DD and i used the travel sickness bracelets and packed some salty snacks i actually woke up on day 3 of sickness holiday misery and my sickness was completely gone too i felt fine so i could enjoy the rest of my holiday fingers crossed you feel better for yours

one word of advice is, your skin will likely be more sensitive to the different sun strength so pack some high strength suncream just in case

I'd try and buy some Gatorade at the airport - it helps stop you getting dehydrated. Also some snacks - sometimes I find salty foods like pretzels best, other days I found sweet foods better, like biscuits.

I assume you've got a EHIC and travel insurance that specifically covers pregnancy?

I had to go to Spain for work and had been very sick. I got the doc to prescribe some travel sickness pills and just took one before I set off each way so I could get through the journey.

I found when I was over there the fresh air and change of environment really helped and I didn't feel half as bad.

Started again when I got back though...

Can I lurk on this thread please? I'm due to go to the Dordogne at 13 weeks and am feeling so ill that I'm dreading the drive.

By 13 weeks you may find the sickness is easing anyway.

The acupuncture bands you wear on your wrist really helped me when travelling
