Pregnancy Nightmares

Is anyone else having really bad nightmares? I am having very scary dreams every night, so much so that they wake me up - last night I woke up and I was so scared!! Last night has got to have been the worse that I've had. .... I was trying to escape a serial killer who was going to a secondary school and kidnapping the girls there, he would half beat them to death, wash their hair in pantene and then kill them and hide their bodies in the lift shaft!! .... I was really worried when the killer said that he had paid £3 for the pantene as I knew he had been ripped off and could have got it at poundland for £1! ... Weird or what?! . Anyone else having bad dreams? Or does anyone know what stage of pregnancy they stop?

Pantene???? That part is more worrying than the actual violence!

Whilst I was pregnant every 4 weeks or so I had really angry dreams. The only one I can remember was when I was 16 weeks. I was in my kitchen (which was actually my parents kitchen) arguing with DH over some hotdogs(?) I got more and more mad until I grabbed a frying pan and stoved his head in. I then woke up and I was still so angry that I almost lashed out at him in RL!!! Luckily, I realised I had been dreaming before I hit him!!!
After each dream, I noticed that my bump had grown. Especially that once - my bumped had "popped" and had become quite large and rounded during the night!

It must be a hormonal thing or maybe just your brain processing the fact that you are about to have a life changing experience!

I had loads of nightmares throughout my pregnancy, quite graphic violent terrifying ones that would wake me up. One had me in tears and shaking. I had these up until about 2 months after the baby was born. Then I would only dream of us staying in a hotel (no more violence but quite frustrating!).
All back to normal now (a year on!) though if that's any help...

I blame the hormones! ;)
