dd 35 weeks pg had a show last week

and getting pains and bh on and off now since, do you think she could go in labour early. she says she as more discharge than normal too

I'm currently 35+1 and I had a show on Saturday just gone, told my mw about it on Monday and she said not to worry cos it's not always a sign of labour - she said it could be slight cervical abrasions as baby comes down to engage.

She also said even if it was a show, labour might not start for weeks anyway so to just wait it out and see if contractions start.

She said if pains did start and they became regular to ring the ante-natal ward for firther advice.
