About 22/23 weeks, I think, but it was very hit and miss for ages because every time I'd call him over and say bubs was kicking, it would stop!

MummyFifi · 24/06/2010 22:43

I was 18 weeks when DH felt her for the first time, but it took a lot of patience!!! Am 26+4 now and not only can everybody feel her but they can see her too!! Freaky, like the Alien films

I'm 23 weeks now & dh says he can't despite me seeing them anterior placenta though which does give a blind spot

funnysinthegarden · 24/06/2010 22:47

about 30 weeks with DS2. I have to say though, by the time DS2 came along, DH was bored with 'here, now. he's kicking now, come and feel it.........ahhh he's stopped' repeated aprox once every 10 mins while watching telly of and eve

sazziej · 25/06/2010 05:46

I didn't feel anything until 20 weeks and DH didn't feel it until about 23 weeks, despite my calls of 'feel now, she's kicking' etc.

Am 30 weeks now and he can feel and see her moving about.

18 wks, although mw said not to expect anything before 24 weeks, position of placenta can make a difference, they noted this info on my 20 wk scan

marmitelover · 25/06/2010 13:19

I was about 24 weeks I think before I felt them properly and a bit longer for DH to have his hand in the right place at the right time. Now my belly makes funny shapes (I'm 35 weeks) I think everyone can see it moving!

PickleSarnie · 25/06/2010 13:22

About 21 weeks for OH to feel them. Probably would have felt them earlier but baby wouldn't perform on demand so he'd get bored/cramp in his hand waiting for a kick before then.

nagoo · 25/06/2010 13:23

22 weeks for Dh to feel DS, am 20 weeks on monday and the kicks I'm feeling seem far to tiny for anyone else to feel for a long while!

legallyblond · 25/06/2010 14:28

I am 26 + 4 now. This is my first and I have an anterior placeta. I didn't start feling kicks myself until about 2 and a half weeks ago. DH felt them for the first time at about 25 weeks, or maybe 25 + a few days. So quite late! But over the last couple of days, I have been able to "see" the baby do a massive movement a couple of time!

MadameCheese · 25/06/2010 14:32

how far along are you Lucy?

oldmum42 · 25/06/2010 17:27

21 weeks with this pregnancy, but DH had to keep hand pressed near pubic bone (where I could feel most of the movement), for quite a while - he was rewarded with a few rolling movements and a proper kick. I think it's a bit hit and miss that early though.
