No idea where to put this thread, so put it here, and we'll see how it goes!

OK, so my DS is starting school in a few weeks, and will have been at the same nursery for 5 years. There are 13 staff he is in regular contact with, and I'd like to get them a gift from DS when he leaves, as theyve all been so good.

Any ideas? The manager said to get tea/coffee and biscuits, but to me that doesnt mean much.

Does anyone have any ideas? A bottle of wine each? A wee make-up bag? something hand-made by my DS?
£4 or £5 each maximum seems fair (I think)?

A fancy mug, i work in a nursery and a parent got us all mugs when their child left and it was lovely. something practical but also a keepsake of that child. I often think of him when i have my morning coffee. Much better than chocs or bottle of wine which is gone in mins and then forgotten. Hope this helps.

ooh, nice idea. I wonder where I could get nice-but-not-too-expensive ones, pref that are all different, in case they want to use them at the nursery

I think best of all would be a card for each made by your child with a personal message of thanks.
