Just drank small (mixer) can of coke....now worried!

I know that you are not supposed to drink sugary, fizzy drinks as they are bad for you, but they really help with the nausea, so I let myself.

However, I just bought a pack of the little mixer cans of coke (I can never drink a full can) and now I am worried I will harm the baby by drinking them. I don't drink coffee and only ever have decaf tea (although not at the mo as it makes me feel yuck), don't smoke, no alcohol and have gone off chocolate.

My caffeine intake is very small, but if I drink one or two of these mini cans of coke a day, would I be doing any major harm? I plan to stop with all the crap food once the nausea eases obviously, but for now it gets me through the day.

I ate pate, seafood, soft cheese, raw ham, raw fish, drank wine and coke and coffee and consumed milions of oranges, throughout 4 pregnancies.
Do you know what made me so sick with food poisoning I thought I might die, at 7 months pregnant? A dodgy batter sausage and chips from the chipper. And not a bother on the baby anyway.

My sil practically had me arrested for eating oysters while breastfeeding...not even pregnant, but feeding. FFS.

But oysters are minging, they're up there with peach iced-tea fgs!

I've eaten everything on your list - plus blue cheese & margaritas. I've also been horse-riding, on a rollercoaster and probably a billion other things you're not supposed to do. Baby still here - kicking like a bugger and I'm still having morning sickness at 36+ weeks. Every time he wakes me up in the morning to make me puke I go to the deli to see what I can "punish" him with!

have a small glass of wine + a bit of pate on toast to relax you op

Just don't brush straight after the coke, leave it for 20 mins or so!

Mmm, oysters and iced tea....I wish that was my lunch!
