Sorry to ramble.

I am 28+1 and feel really paranoid about myself and my bump. I feel so large, and unattractive at the moment. I get paranoid all the time about my partner thinking I look horrendous and going off with other people. I know I'm silly, but it does get me down some of the time - I think I'm just having a bad day! I just wondered if anyone else didn't quite have that "glowing" feeling at the moment!!!!

I have spots, cellulite and feel like I look awful - definitely not 'glowing' and only 18w! Hope this makes you feel better I think it's really hard to feel good about yourself when your body changes so much x

no pregnancy glow here! Spots went at 12 weeks but look fat and bloated and feel like a munter. 24+5 and resigned to the fact that it's only going to get worse! Also why does every magazine I pick up talk about pregnancy glow and making the most of the 2nd trimester, the only time I have felt good is 4 - 5 weeks pregnant!

Thanks It feels better that there are other people the same!!

I thought about cheering myself up by going shopping today but it's so blummin' hot I can't face it!!

Definitely no glow here either. My skin is erupting, my hair is often a mess (thick curly hair does not need thickening!) and I feel fat and tired and hurting.

My DH is being pretty nice about saying I look great and he still fancies me but I'm avoiding all mirrors when out as it depresses me so much! We've got a family wedding in a few weeks and I'm dreading it. Think I'll need a celeb-style team of make-up artists to look good!

I am 34+! and absolutely enormous, my face feels like a big old moon, one of my feet is swollen and and there is exactly zero glow emanating from me.

My DH has been lovely (I seriously do not believe a word he says - he told me I have legs like a gazelle last night, when they clearly belong to an elephant in its advanced years), but I have to admit, that I am very keen to get back to my normal self, and hope against hope that it's not going to be too difficult to shed the weight I've put on!

Just keep telling yourself - it's only temporary.

Yeah I feel weird when people say "oh I loved being pregnant" and stuff like that, I really feel huge and can't get used to people commenting on my size. And if I haven't seen someone for a couple of weeks I feel totally paranoid about the looks when they see how much bigger I am! I feel really scrutinised!

I do wonder if I'm wasting my pregnancy...

Saying that, the last time someone hadn't seen me for a few weeks and I knew I was much bigger, even though I was kind of embarassed (?) in a way it was tinged with a bit of pride too... perhaps this is a good sign! I might get there.

The fact that I'm getting married at 34 weeks kind of makes me want to cry sometimes...! I want to be beautiful!

I'm another one who feels like a munter/ rhino. Spots from my face down my chest and back, stretch marks, cellulite, puffy legs and feet, and I feel so bloody heavy that I walk at about 1mph.

I think a 'glowing' pregnancy is probably just a myth!
