15 weeks and suddenly feeling anxious over not feeling pregnant

Hi, my three times a day sickness stopped bang on 14 weeks and since then I've had no symptoms. Obv it's great to not be sick on street corners any more but I have no bump (I am overweight though so maybe won't show on me much) and no other symptoms except tiredness. Even this worries me as I keep reading second trimester is meant to come with a burst of energy but I am knackered. Is this normal? I'm worried it means everything has stopped working.

Plus if I am this neurotic now how will I be as a mum? Aaaaargh.

Hi yellowflowers

Don't worry - I felt exactly the same. I read somewhere it's because there is a switchover to the placenta(?I think) from pregnancy hormones to keep baby ticking, and so it's really normal not to feel pregnant...

I only have began to have proper pregnant bump this last week (am 21 weeks), have naps after work every day because I still get really tired. Also haven't felt any kicking, so got all worried, but found out today my placenta is at the front.

I thought after 12 week milestone I wouldn't get worried about everything still happening, but still do. I reckon it's normal!

Hello!

Same advise as Nausika - I am 16+ weeks and actually feel more like my normal un-pregnant self (except for big bump!) compared to a few weeks ago.

Also don't worry about the neuroticism.. its only natural.

Congratulations!

Thanks both. Hopefully everything is fine - I just feel totally normal. Silly me - that's a good thing after all. x
