...yesterday about 8:30pm I went to the loo & there was a tiny bit of bright coloured blood - a bit like a cm of membrane. There was also a pinky discharge. The shock went right through me ( we were at a friends house), so I took rescue remedy & we came home. No more blood.

This am none at the first 2 morning pee's & now on the 3rd one, there is brownish things going on (not quite sure how to describe).

I've also got a sort of uncomfortable, but not painful, grinding, something-going-on feeling in my belly.

This is my 2nd pregnancy & I've never experienced this before, so really don't know what is happening/what to do.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ advice please ?

I am bleeding and have cramping, went to A&E today doc did internal and said i am still pg but it is a threatened miscarriage, i just have to wait till mon for scan. It is sheer hell waiting and being scared to move, I am 6 weeks on sunday.

I feel so bad i was on another thread about not being sure about being pg....kids are teens, i am 41 etc.... and now this is happening i DO want it. Feel so guilty like it is my fault for not being pleased etc. I made up my mind last night to keep the baby knowing deep down that i wouldnt be able to get rid of it and within half an hour i started bleeding, So upset

Oh, bardot, I am so sorry. Try to relax and breathe deeply. Maybe just a teensy bit of wine at this point wouldn't hurt? And perhaps a slightly warm (but not too!) bath? Try to visualize things in your body calming down. Sending positive thoughts your way.

bardot, so sorry to hear you're bleeding. I think probably best to rest, but having experienced what I did last weekend, what will be will be

There are lots of herbal teas around, which aparently can help...I've been doing lots of research over the last few days, trying to find answers etc - of course there are none really. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks to mojo and jabber. I am prepared for the worst, still bleeding but it isnt much at all and the pain is subsiding, but have the feeling that i have already lost it. Things just dont feel right iykwim

((((hugs)))) Bardot I know exactly what you mean but it was terrible for me when they confirmed what I already knew deep down. Morre ((((hugs))))

sorry to be so graphic but just to sum up how things have happened for me.

Thursday night terrible back ache and feeling strange in the tummy.

Going to bed went to loo pinky brown discharge then some bright red blood. Then waking through night with back pain and dragging sensations down leg abit like i get with a period then thick brown goo(sorry).

A&E next day, tell me it is only a threatened miscarriage as no clot passed. Send me home to take it easy, hardly any blood since and only brown and bitty.

Pain is better but i keep getting the feeling that i have wet myself and my underwear is wet but it def isnt wee????? so confused pg test today is positive and boobs still painful.

Surely if i have had a m/c it would have lasted longer and be heavier.

But i do have light short periods????

Scan tomorrow...help anyone???

jabberwocky · 22/08/2005 04:27

Oh, dear, bardot, let's just keep hoping for the best tonight. I know you've probably already gone to bed by now. Let us know how things go tomorrow.

HellyBelly · 22/08/2005 08:17

mumtosomeone · 22/08/2005 08:22

hugs to all. hope everything goes ok with scan today.
What can I say?
We are here for you! x

bardot · 22/08/2005 17:51

Had scan today and.....saw heart beat flickering away, all ok and measuring 7 weeks. I couldnt believe it, so convinced i had lost baby. Nurse said there was a dark patch which looked like a possible implant bleed.

Still not 100% convinced that this isnt the end of it but for now thankful

Thanks for all your wishes xxxxxxxxxx

mummyhill · 22/08/2005 18:41

((hugs)) am keeping everything possible crossed for you. Hope it is just an implantation thing.

jabberwocky · 22/08/2005 19:36

What a relief! Maybe just have a rest today, eat a little ice cream and think sweet baby thoughts.

Mojomummy · 22/08/2005 19:44

Excellent - glad to hear the good news

How are you today, bardot?

bardot · 24/08/2005 00:38

hi jabber, i have actually bled again today not much but more than the last 2 days iykwim, abit crampy but not as bad as before.

Has anyone been through this, saw the heartbeat and then more bleeding, m/c afterall, i am convinced i will lose it.

jabberwocky · 24/08/2005 03:56

I'm pretty sure aloha has some bleeding throughout one of her pregnancies. Maybe do a thread search?

withchild · 26/08/2005 11:37

bardot, i hate to say that I bled, had a scan, saw the baby's heartbeat but then bled more and lost the baby . I know this is probably not what you want to hear but it can happen.
