Advice please

im 38+1 and have already been told that the baby's head is well engaged. I have woken up this morning with cramp like feelings in the bottom of my stomach and the bottom of my back is aching....is this normal? it is the first time i have had pain like this so im a lil worried any advice would be great thanks

That would be contractions.

If they get worse then phone labour suite at hospital (number should be on your notes). Might be a false start thoguh.
