WTF is going on??

I took a clearblue regular test 10 days ago and it was positive. Told dh, mum, a couple of cloe friends. shock dc3 but we were excited.

Anyway, today i took a clearblue digital - conception indictor (to see what the week bit said) and it was negative! What's going on?? I should be 5+2.

hmmm :-/ try a different brand of test? the conception indicator can only tell you if it's been 0-1 weeks, 1-2 weeks or 3 weeks + anyway and I think that bit is only 80% effective or something anyway.

if you got a positive 10 days ago and no AF has shown up then I would prob be inclined to think that was a dud test...

Don't panic, clearblue are crap in my experience. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, i did 2 first response tests 4 days before af was due, nice bfp's thought i would do some more a few days later just to check again did a cheapy boots own one, another bfp. Still wasnt satisfied though so bought some of the clearblue digital tests, both had an error and did't work (what a waste of money!) found a normal clearblue one in the cupboard worked ok another bfp.

Just out of interest i tried another clearblue test today ( had a miscarriage in jan so am bit anxious this time) and again another error, didn't work at all!! So I definately don't rate clearblue at all and have always found first response to be the best.

The digitals are less sensitive, but they should pick up the pregnancy 2-3 days after the regular tests. Have you done another regular test?

Also, did you test first thing in the morning?

I did the poitive test first wee of the day, the one today wa late afternoon. I've bought another to do in the morning. I just don't get it!

Sorry to hear that!! Is your AF usually irregular? Sounds like it should have arrived over a week ago, is that right? My AF is usually all over the place so I'm used to it but if you're usually regular and you've had one positive pregnancy test I'd be tempted to phone the docs and see if they can find out what's going on...

My af was due on the 11th, I had the positive test that day, i'm now 11 days past that. Just spoke to gp who was pretty unsympathetic, just said you'll have a heavy period. Just wait. I'm a glasto this weekend so with my luck it'll be then!

have you ever tried mn8 magnets? i found it great for helping to regulate my cycles and when my cycles got all messed up in october/november i started wearing it all the time. my predicted 'heavy' af that i thought would turn up and ruin my weekend trip to rome in december never arrived...because i was pregnant. could be you as well!!
