hi ladies i am 11 weeks 1 day today and have previously had a mmc found out at my 12 week scan that unfortunatly there was no heart beat we had got to aprox 10weeks we were devistated but thaught we would try again straight away and felt so blessed when i got pregnant again. like i said im 11weeks 1 day and have just started having a popping feeling in my belly. i cant remenmber having this with my daughter who is now 3years old so memory does fade but im petrified of bad news when i have my scan on thursday. do you think the popping feeling is anything to worry about? im driving myself insane.

Early movements are really commonly described as feeling like bubbles popping, which is what made me suggest that. I felt movements from 11 weeks or so, I would swear to it. Felt a bit like twanging
but very subtle.

If you're feeling ok then I don't think there's any cause for concern

good luck with your scan by the way!

Shaz10 · 20/06/2010 21:45

ooohh as soon as I saw the title I thought baby movements. You feel the next one earlier than the last, partly because you know what to 'look' for.

Please try (yes I know) to relax. I'm sure it's your baby kicking.

Same as Shaz - straight away, thought that's the baby wriggling! With my second I felt the pops very early - 11/12 weeks, having felt them from 14/15-ish with my first. Good luck for the scan

Plus, after a mc, you analyse every twinge. You prob gad weird feelings with your dd, but didn't get concerned about them. Good luck with the scan!

hopalongdagger · 20/06/2010 21:56

You are describing exactly the same kind of feeling I had when I first felt my DD moving. So probably nothing at all to worry about, just a wriggly baby. Is it possible you could be a bit further along than you think?

Ooh popcorn popping is a brilliant description of the first feelings of baby movement!

Hope everything is ok, good luck.
