I don't have a temperature, just cramps and diarrhoea. Will the baby be ok?

You should be, just keep hydrated! I had swine flu, which included a horrendous V&D bug, at 9 weeks and I'm 39 weeks now. Poor you feel better soon and congrats!

I would have thought so.
Your body will work very hard to look after it, so you may find that you suffer more than you normally would.
Try to drink enough and if you can have some sweets or something to give you some energy.

I had a vomitting bug when four weeks pregnant it was awful!! But it didn't effect the baby at all (now 9 weeks old, and covered in chickenpox, but that's another story!). All the best xx

Thank you everyone - that's very reassuring and sorry you've been through it too!

You'll both be fine as long as you drink plenty water and some sugary drinks too, to keep hydrated. High temperatures can be more of a problem, but you don't need to worry about that
