Is it about the head engaging?

I am 33 weeks and my baby was 3/5 engaged yesterday. My last two didnt engage before labour had started!

notnowbernard · 20/06/2010 19:21

Do you feel different this time, Fernie?

My 2 were bothoverdue... I'd love this baby to come at least on its due date!

My second was engaged earlier than first. They can move back up too if I remember correctly.

Remember midwife telling me to chill out as he was just getting settled in down there.

I have had alot of BHs this time, and feel pressure down below. I was on the monitor yesterday and was getting BH quite often although they were not very painful and were spaced very irregularly. My last two were induced at 36 and 37 weeks so never had a chance to engage. I am hoping this baby will wait until much later (i.e 39 weeks +) as we are moving house in three weeks to the other end of the country!

notnowbernard · 20/06/2010 19:27

Have been having loads of BH this time as well

And am much more niggly and twingey and generally whingey uncomfortable than before

Good luck with the move!
