How big is your bump?

I am 19 weeks today and look like I have a beer belly rather than a baby inside me.

when do you 'really' start to look pregnant?

Also, can't say I have felt any flutters yet although the midwife asked me if I had at my last appointment. I really have no idea what they would feel like and could easily have mistaken them for something else.

At 19 weeks, I could feel the bump inside me.

Lay on your back. Find the top of your pubic bone. Just behind that and above, you should be able to feel a sort of 'balloony' shape bit. It's kind of small though. My bump didn;t look baby shaped until 25 ish weeks. Depends on your starting size amongst other things. I was quite a realistically sized woman to start with!

Flutters: Mine felt like little tickles.. almost like being nervous when you get 'butterflies'...

Is this your first baby? I didn't get my first bump until about 24 weeks, up until then I just looked a bit bloated rather than pregnant. There was a lot of public belly-patting going on to make sure people knew I was having a baby rather than having extra chips with everything I guess it depends on your size, I was quite slim back then! With my first, I remember feeling the baby around 20 weeks, it felt a lot like a rolling sort of movement rather than a kick. This is my 3rd PG, and I was showing at 14 weeks, and feeling kicks at 16. I can feel the baby clearly when I'm lying down with a full bladder, or after I've been bad and had a Diet Coke!
At 19 weeks, I'm sure your bump is just around the corner

I'm pregnant with my first, my bump came at about 20 weeks, now at 26 weeks my bump looks huge! I started to feel kicking at around 22 weeks, it was a very light sensation, almost as if something was lightly flicking my insides, I can see why some people miss it as it is so light. Now she kicks for England and they can be quite strong.

I can feel my bump best standing up - where it's just my innards, it's a bit squidgy, but where it's baby, it's hard under the skin. I think when you pop really varies. I popped really early for a first baby (bad back = crappy abodominal muscles!) as did one other person at my NCT Working Bumps class. But my best friend stayed small until really late on.

I wish I knew what it feels like when you feel the baby! I'm getting some butterflies in my tummy (feels just like when I'm nervous) and I'm not sure if that's baby or indigestion related!

Sounds like I don't have long to wait then! I can feel the hard bump (underneath my fat!) and am going to really concentrate on feeling the flutters.

I have my next scan on 7th July when hopefully I will find out the sex. Exciting times!

I popped out at about 23 weeks. Is my first baby.

Am now 27 weeks and am measuring 30cm. Although I reckon an inch of that is my own pre-existing fat!
