am i crazy to want to try for another baby?

please be honest..i dont know if im doing right thing here...

im 25 my dh is 33, wds will be 4 on october and im really want to have another one
dh is not sure for financial reasons (he wants to buy a house in next 5 years) but we are much better of now than when we had ds.. i think ds needs a sibling and being a bit selfish i want to have one now not in 5 years time..

so should i go for it or stop at one and get on with my career?
im lost!

You aren't crazy, just a little incoherent.
But you need to talk things over with your DH properly.

It's something to discuss with your OH as it's got to be a family decision. We waited until we were financially secure with our own house to start trying, but I know a lot of people don't and if you want to have another without too big an age gap, waiting may not be practical.

I loved having a sibling who was close to my own age, and I don't think it's selfish of you to want to have another child. But whether you go ahead or not is definitely something to talk through with your OH. You say he's 'not sure'; tell him exactly how you feel about it, what your reasons are, and get him to tell you how he feels and what his reasons are. Maybe one of you will come round to the other's way of thinking, or you might find a compromise that you'd both like to do.

well, IME having a baby isn't that expensive, esp if you still have stuff fromk the first, or are willing to ahve hand-me-downs

I can totally understand where you're coming from wanting another one now, rather than in 5 years time when your first son will be 9

i think you need to sit down with him and both go through your own reasons for wanting/not wanting one and see what you come up with

You'll never regret having a baby but always regret not having one when you wanted one. Much nicer to have children closer in age I think if you are planning/wanting more than 1.
