I took a CB with C.Indicator last fri morning (not first thing ) and it said 2-3 weeks
I repeated the test on sun morning (first thing) and it said 2-3 again
After some spotting, mostly brown but one episode of red/pink and chronic back ache all week I took another test today .....it says 1-2 weeks

Any thoughts anyone?

Did you take the test with FMU after sleeping through the night? The conception indicator is very dependent on the strength of your urine.

Having said that, bleeding and pain does mean you should see your GP if you haven't already and maybe get an EPAU referral. It's too early for a scan, but they might be able to do the HCG blood tests (far more accurate for comparison than urine tests). However, they may say just wait a week and see what happens.

I had an EPAU referral in similar circumstances and they tested my hCG levels.

I think I remember them saying that your hCG levels will double roughly every 72 hours through the first 12 weeks or so.

Maybe ring your GP and get a referral?

Thank you for your replies....
Spottylotty can I ask...how did it turn out for you?

It was good news, my levels weren't doubling but they were increasing, DD is 15 months now.
I'd had a bleed and it was a suspected ectopic, a very scary time but thankfully it worked out. The EPAU service was excellent, def call your GP for a referral. Hope all goes well Xxx

Thanks. I am not optimistic. I have had a mmc, 7 mc's and an ectopic which resulted in the loss of a fallopian tube.
Thnk God I do have 3 beautiful dd's but we would soooooo have loved another before I ge too old (am 39).

I have had no more spotting for last 2 days bu no symptoms other than 'aware of boobs' ifykwim...they don't hurt they just seem to feel slightly different at times...but then just as often they feel normal again....
i am trying not to go mad....

If you do a search on clearblue tests you will find plenty of threads of people saying how crap and inaccurate they are, and that they often caise unneccessary worry.

Very sorry you've been through so many losses, no wonder you're feeling fraught. Fingers firmly crossed for you, maybe if you call the EPAU directly, not all need a referral.

mosschops30 · 17/06/2010 15:05

Im not sure if this helps but according to a friend they only go as far as 2-3 weeks. She took one and was '2-3' weeks and was actually 7 weeks pg.
Go figure!
Hope it all works out well for you

japhrimel · 17/06/2010 15:09

They do go up to 3+ weeks, but the conception dating bit is very unreliable IMO as it's so dependent on how much you drink and pee.

Dropdeadfred · 17/06/2010 15:12

I dont want to go to my local EPU as i was tha department that wrongly assured me that I was not having an ectopic and sent me home for my tube to rupture...

DropDead Thats so and

If you are in no pain, so ectopic is unlikely, avoid the EPAU. But, that leaves you to play the waiting game which is misery.

Thinking of you Xx

Dropdeadfred · 17/06/2010 15:33

Thank you everyone.
Spottylotty thank you - I think I may ry and persuade DH to book a privae scan...but as I must only just be 5-6 weeks (lmp 6/5/10) I'm not sure whether to wait a week or two as I want to see something!!

All symptoms gone today and distinct lack of feeling pregnant..just dull back ache. Boobs deflated....bit like me in general really!
