wee seems to be coming out slower than pre-pregnancy and I don't feel i need a wee in the same way as i used to. Also there is a slight dull ache when I go. Is this some kind of infection? Any thoughts appreciated.

I'm not sure but it might be - UTIs are v common in pg. Can you get to your GP so they can test your wee and give you antibiotics if necessary?

I am unfortunately very prone to cystitis and it usually turns into a UTI for me. Hate it!!! V. annoying!! 30 weeks pregnant tho, and have somehow managed not to get it while pregnant. No idea how I dodged that bullet

Anyway, I think most preg women find that the wee comes out slower and not as..pressurised (??) which is one of the reasons it becomes increasingly difficult to wee into a specimen bottle when you have to go to the midwife.

So that on its own doesn't really mean anything. But if it is sore whenever you go then you should get it checked out. FWIW, cystitis usually feels stingy or like your wee burns (ouch) like acid. At least to me, anyway...
