More aches and pains this time? I seem to be aware of everything little ache, niggle and potential pain going! It's driving me mad as I spend half the day wondering if everything's okay and the other half telling myself not be to stupid and worry so much. Trouble is it leaves me with no time to think of anything else!

I am 39 weeks with #3 and I can easily say this has been my most painful/uncomfortable pregnancy yet. Thankful it's my last as well. I don't think I could go thru this again.

mamasunshine · 15/06/2010 07:38

I'm 9 wks and it's definately the worse so far. I have a 1yrs old and 2yrs old to run after too so don't suppose that helps! I would've loved 4 but really don't think I can go through this again...just hope I remember how hard it is when my hormones are screaming at me to "just have 1 more" !! Also I had pre-eclampsia with ds1 and Pg induced hypertension with ds2, I'm convinced I'm going to have PET again this time and it's all going to be horrendous. I really need to find my positive head again I'm really hoping that come 12 wks I'll be high as a kite on pg happiness [wishful thinking emoticon]

balijay · 15/06/2010 07:46

Haha god yes! On #3 here too (have ds 11 and dd 7) and have been a complete worrier this time. Am nearly 18 weeks and have been bleeding intermittently which is v v stressful. Also having braxton hicks most days so have managed to convince myself that there is no way I am going to make it to full term and am bound to go into premature labour. AArrgghhhh!! This is my dp's 1st baby and I know he would like another after this - I'm not saying anything at the moment!!

peppapighastakenovermylife · 15/06/2010 08:23

I am sitting in my office just thinking this - debating going down onto my hands and knees and breathing my stomach is so tight and uncomfortable / painful. Had such bad back ache and general period type pains last night I think if it was my first I would be down the hospital!

Am 32 weeks ish at the moment. I can just feel him grinding his head away down there and swear he is going to pop his head out say 'what's up mum' and go back in again. Either that or stick out a hand and wave!

nymphadora · 15/06/2010 08:31

22weeks and yes this has been the most difficult one so far. There has been outside factors affecting me though.

Most pain I had early on was to do with my section scar & the second one took a long time to heal so think that has affected it.

girlsyearapart · 15/06/2010 08:35

yep totally agree- am 33 wks with the third.

Had such bad bleeding at 8 wks thought I was miscarrying then admitted to hospital for 3 days and nights at 29 wks due to contractions which did not let up. Steroid injections x 4.

Can swim about 1 length and stand for about ten mins. At this stage with the other 2 I could easily swim 40 lengths and take the dog for long walks.

Arrrrrrrrrrrgh.

Glad I'm not the only one though

xkatyx · 15/06/2010 09:07

Hi, i'm on number 3 and 5+2 weeks (dragging)

massive worrier, in and out of te toilet checking all is ok, lots of shooting pains and aches ahhhhhhhhhh.

x

merlin8878 · 15/06/2010 09:33

26+1 with DC3, and I have to say this has been the most uncomfortable/eventful pg so far.

A big bleed at 6 weeks, hyperemesis (now thankfully under control), anaemia (still trying to get under control), SPD (mild at the moment) and lots more general aches/pains/niggles that I've not had with DD1 and 2.

Oh, and I'm already measuring at nearly 30 weeks! (2 big babies previously so am expecting a big one this time, but a bit shocked at just how big I am already!)

Got a full blood count and the GTT to look forward to tomorrow!

Moan over!

Things can only get better!!!

girlsyearapart · 15/06/2010 19:09

with you merlin I'm measuring 3cm too big and had the GTT which was all clear so no excuse..

How big were your last 2?

merlin8878 · 15/06/2010 20:57

Hey girls

DD1 was 8lb2 (14 days over) and DD2 was 8lb12 (7 days over)

As I'm usually a size 8 and my bmi was 19 and taking into my family history (mum, grandparents etc are/were diabetic), my consultant this time around is convinced that GD was missed in my previous pgs.

Everyone is really shocked when they ask how long I've got to go and I say actually I've still got 3 months to go!

girlsyearapart · 17/06/2010 07:53

Does sound quite likely merlin doesn't it?

My dd1 was 8lb5 on her due date but my dd2 was 9lb 11 days early so I'm a little bit apprehensive of what size this one will be..

Have been told I won't be going past 40 wks but I don't want to be induced either really..
