As title says, I am wondering if anyone knows of an early pregnancy unit in Poole?

I am hoping to find one that does not require doctors referral if anyone knows of one in or near to Poole, Dorset, please can you let me know.

Thank you

Check here: www.earlypregnancy.org.uk/

Why can't you get a doctor's referral if you need an EPAU?

Hi, there is one at Poole Hospital, and you can phone them directly to get an appointment- no need to go to the Docs- Hope that helps. The number is on the above website.

Thank you for your replies.

Japhrimel - I am currently 4 weeks pregnant but I have a history of recurrent miscarriage (7 in the last 2 years, some of which have had a heartbeat then later were lost). I am going on holiday in the area and so will be away from my normal gp and just wanted to know, for my own reassurance, that if I start to miscarry while on holiday there (I am there for 3 weeks) that I can go to get help without going through an A&E department.

dymond - thank you, it is ressuring to know that I could get an appointment at poole hospital if necessary. I sm now just hoping it won't be necessary for me! Thank you.
