Hello,

I am a newbie

Found out I was pregnant a couple of days ago, when I went to A&E and found out I has severe gastroenteritis (+ that I was pregnant!)

Had been having severe tummy pains, runny tummy, bleeding etc. So they gave me blood tests, 2 x-rays and codine (pain killer). Obv before they tested my urine to find I was pregnant.

I also havent been able to eat much since Thursday. Managed to keep down some dry toast and plain potato today though. Plus plenty of water.

I think concieved roughly 2weeks ago. Will my baby be ok? Got doctors app on Tuesday, just want to put my mind at rest.

Yes, I'm sure baby will be fine - they aren't getting much from you at the moment, and they are quite robust. congratulations!

If you think you concieved 2 weeks ago then that means your probably only 4 weeks pregnant now. The baby would be teeny tiny miniscule by now & just chilling in your womb lining so I'm sure your baby will be just fine.

A friend of mine had exactly the same as you and couldn't eat properly for ages and found out she was pg. Her little boy is 5 now and just perfect. Try not to worry and congrats.
