Buying an iCandy Apple in Chelmsford.

Hi,

We looked a while ago at prams etc and our first impression is that we would like an iCandy apple. I am now beginning to think about finding the best price of this one and delivery dates. We live in Chelmsford but can travel (within reason) to pick it up.

I am now 22 weeks but thought I should check now in case delivery times are ridiculously long!

On that note when would you start to buy things big and small?

Thanks so much for your help!

I'm nowhere near Chelmsford, but when we ordered our apple, we were advised to allow about 12 weeks. This meant the shop could get it in (there are sometimes long delays) and also that if there were any problems with it, there would be time to resolve them before we needed it.

There is a section on the i-candy website which lists the nearest stockists, so it may be worth paying a visit to a few of those and comparing price/ service etc. The shops will advise you of the timescales they like to work to.

We ended up buying it from a small, specialist baby stuff shop who would hold it until we wanted to collect it so that the warranty started as late as possible.

I bought mine two weeks ago from the Oxford pram centre and they keep them in stock. They don't sell iCandy over the Internet but you may be able to pay over the phone and they could then send it to you. Can't wait to start using it.
