Possible TMI - Vibrating feeling...

Hello all

I'm 25+6 and have been feeling a vibrating sensation in my fanjo for the past few days. I can actually feel it externally and have got my DP to rest his hand down there and he can feel it too...

I assume this is some thing to do with the babies movements, but should I really be feeling it so low? Also felt what was a kick in my bladder earlier...

I'm also worried it may mean my pelvic floor has gone, I am overweight but this is my first child.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I can't really shed any light on it, but I had it too - a sort of buzzing sensation. Never found out what it was, but all was well with both babies and my pelvic floor is fine!

I've had it too! at 7+4 so, if it's the same thing, can't be down to baby's movement. What the hell is it?!

I think there have been threads about this before, but can't remember what conclusion anyone came to. Have you tried searching for other messages about this?

NewbieT · 11/06/2010 16:16

Correction, I'm 8+4 (really sleepy)

Will have a look for other threads, thanks Tidey

QUick scan of these shows that a popular theory is "blood flow to the pelvis" or some sort of nerve twitching, couple of people mused about possibility of infection...

Thanks for the replies everyone!!!

It's good to know it's probably just a nerve/blood thing! I do hope it's only temporary though as it is slightly annoying.

Ooh, I must read those threads, thanks for that - I am 15+5 and have a similar buzzing sensation...and possibly a urine infection

MiniMarmite · 11/06/2010 20:05

I agree with the but I'm intrigued nonetheless!

I had this with DD1, spoke to my MW about it and she said it was nothing to worry about. She didn't explain what caused it though.
