Hi all need your help ladies, am 6+5 and just noticed that I'm bleeding. Not a lot of blood and so far got no pain other than some cramping yesterday evening but its fresh blood and now I'm terrified I'm losing my baby. Going to phone my antenatal clinic in the morning but was just hoping for some advice and reassurance xx

You can get implantation bleeds which are perfectly normal. What isn't normal is pain with bleeding, then passing a clot. I hope this helps and all is OK.

hi, i had an implantation bleed at this point. there was quite a bit of blood for a day or so. i also did have some pain.
i kind of demanded a scan (they won't necessarily offer one at this point) and it was such a relief to see the baby's heartbeat. i did go on to have bleeding on and off until 14 weeks but my baby was / is fine- well she's now 20 months!
But other people i know are not so lucky.
try to get some rest and i hope it goes ok for you.

Isn't 7 weeks a little late for it to be implantation bleeding tho?

no i think mine was just before 7 weeks (and then i had a bit of later bleeding too). didn't have any bleeding before that. unless i am medically unusual...

Get them to check if your HCG levels are rising over a couple of days (blood test), although they may just do a scan at this point. Good luck.

Hi ladies, am back. Good news.......had a scan and saw a heartbeat, bean only tiny about 6.5mm but could see its heart fluttering away on the scan. They think it was just an implantation bleed and i may notice a few more spots over the next couple of days but so far everything is A ok!!! Am so happy and would like to say thanx to all you lovely ladies for your kind words and sticky bean thoughts xx

Well off to see my mom for the weekend on the south coast. Lots of gentle strolls on the beach (if the weather's nice) and mom cuddles will make it all better.
