So my friend told me last night he is getting married first week of Sept.

I know its still like 3 months way but I dont want to leave it til the last moment and find nothing or OTT priced dressed.

I will be keeping a eye out on e-bay but anyone know of any good shops on or offline that arnt OTT priced as I will only wear it for that day but still want to feel nice and not a whale as I will be about 30 weeks by then

What is your budget?

Jacksmybaby · 08/06/2010 20:03

There are some good recommendations on this thread that I started a couple of weeks ago. FWIW I went for the Seraphine maxi dress!

tassisssss · 08/06/2010 20:06

there are lovely dresses in jojo maman bebe at the moment

Igglybuff · 08/06/2010 20:06

Topshop do some nice dresses. I went to a wedding 8 months pregnant (last August) and wore a dress (silk, electric blue for about £40) from there with white maternity trouses and sparkly sandles.

Thanks for the link Jacksmybaby seen a nice black maxi on new look

I'm not sure budget wise, I guess no more that £30 if I can help it, need to see what DP says, hes the money watcher

I have to go into the city tomorrow so I might have alook around, I dont know how big I will get but right now at 18 weeks I am the size I was with DD at 6 months

sweetkitty · 08/06/2010 20:23

What size were you pre pregnancy?

am asking as I have a size 10 Topshop dress I no longer need in VGC worn about twice.

it's black and white polka dot chiffon

storminabuttercup · 08/06/2010 20:40

Try asos they have lots. I have a tribal maxi dress from new look, cost me less than thirty, very nice and i'm planning on wearing at 35 weeks at a wedding.x

I got a nice dress from Isabella Oliver. Got 15% off, but I think they are now doing 20% with this voucher www.hotukdeals.com/item/661200/code-for-20-discount-on-everything-

nattiecake · 08/06/2010 21:19

Girl Meets Dress hire out designer dresses online and they have some good maternity ones.

Not cheap but since it's to wear to a wedding, I imagine you wouldn't necessarily be getting a lot of wear out of anything you ended up buying so might be nice to treat yourself to wearing a flashy designer label just for the night

I love the Alice Temperley one or the Butter by Nadia blue one and I have a friend's wedding to go to about 3 weeks after I give birth so might rent one of them myself!!

Very nice! That is the one I wanted to get in pink but they did not have any in the right size. Enjoy!
