Ok so I have been off on my hols for two weeks and am due to return to work tomorrow, and last Friday I discovered I was pregnant, I have ben to the docs to get referred to a midwife and have been told I am probably about 4-5 weeks pregnant (my periods were all over the place for the last few months), the only thing is, I cannot stop being sick, seriously I am surprised I have managed to stop long enough to write this post, its relentless, I work in a small office (sizewise) with about 10 colleagues, should I just tell them I am pregnant as they will probably figure it out with my constant puking (the toilet is just off the office).

If you're going to need time off for sickness or more understanding at work, you need to tell your boss at least, so that the anti-discrimination stuff kicks in. You don't want your boss to get mad at you for coming in with a hangover as he/she thinks!

One rule for whether or not to tell people is would you tell them (or have someone tell them) if you had a miscarriage? If you would, then there's less reason not to tell them anyway.
