20 week scan done, so relieved AND I know the sex...

Had this yesterday and all looked fine, was so happy as I'd had a little more spotting at the weekend, and also passed a clotty, bloody type thing about the size of a 1p (TMI sorry) - has anyone else had this??? So I had been particularly worried.

And we found out that I am having another BOY! I am so happy - had always pictured 2 little brothers. So will be mum of boys! I did have a lovely girl's name lined up just incase, which was SO pretty, but now I am back to my boys' list....

Anyone else just found out the sex?

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow but we don't want to know what sex the baby is.

Have you joined an antenatal thread? There are two for October. one here other one here and some people do both!

I found out with DS2 and when she said 'boy' I answered 'Oh god are you sure?' as DS1 had been SUCH hard work but it must have sounded awful!
She replied quite calmly..'well I can see definate signs of male genitalia'!...

my reply was 'oh, I may have to rethink my name choice of Lucy then!'

LOL, DS is not your typical boisterous boy and not hard work beyond the usual, though he is v sensitive, so I was a bit worried about having an absolute drama queen of a girl!!

Disenchanted, there will be an almost 4 year age gap, so I was hoping that the second being boy might help that a bit. Good luck with your scan nymphadora! I did have a look at the antenatal threads once but they seemed so hard to follow!

domesticgodess Its worth having a look in to compare notes , even if you arent on that much! Some people are more addicted than others though

I had my 20wk scan the week before last and we are having a girl this time!! Already have a DS and will have almost a 4 yr age gap too.

My favourite girls names were Ursula and Audrey, and I had thought of having Audrey as the middle name as I was not sure I could get away with it being the first name... But DH really liked Ursula too. Feel free to use them as I don't plan on having any more children!!!
