Fish and Chips - OK to eat when pregnant?

39 weeks and really fancy fish and chips tonight -is it ok to eat?

why should it notbe? At 39 weeks I ate what I dammed well pleased.

Course! Can't think whyever it wouldn't be anyway.

Oh, except I shouldn't have bothered since presumably you've had them by now! Hope they were nice.

The only thing I heard is that some fish and chip shops are mixing swordfish in with cod, because of cod shortages, and you should avoid swordfish because of mercury levels.

But I really don't think it's going to hurt!

How can you possibly go 39 weeks without fish and chips?
