I got a girl on the chinese gender predictor and had quite a few girl traits too as well as having a very different pregnancy this time but the scan showed clearly that we're having another boy!

It's fun guessing though, would be interesting to know if the cabbage thing works!

I don't want to actually do the cabbage test, cos I'd end up going, "but IS it pink or purple?" I still wouldn't be any wiser!
The chinese chart confuses me- some websites say to use yr chinese age and others say your actual age. So for me, chinese age says girl and normal age says boy!!

Cravings- mine keep changing. When I was nauseous I loved tangy chinese food, loved cheese too. Now it's chocolate, mustard and tomatoes, not together! !

Hi, I'm 15w 3d. I think ill find out, although I'd have to go private which isn't cheap... The suspense is already killing me!!
With my ds I always thought it'd be a boy, from day one! This time Ive not got strong feelings, but am very slightly leaning towards girl.
What about you, will you find out?

Yes, the hospital won't tell you, grr! Very annoying.

So, did your sonographer say they werent sure, or that they THINK it's one or the other? This is how I can't understand how some people get told what they're having at their 12w scan. It's clearly not easy to tell, even at 20 weeks

Why don't u do the test to see if it confirms what u were told? :-)

Are u pleased/disappointed with what u were told, or is it just because it's the opposite of what your instincts are telling you?
In some ways I'm scared to find out cos this will be my last, and I'd hate to feel even slightly disappointed. ..

A friend of mine predicted I would have two girls using my wedding ring. To be fair I already had dd1 when she did this test, dh and I were planning to try for babyno.2 but hadn't told anyone. She put my ring on a chain and held it over my wrist and it predicted two girls. Dd2 is now 6.

I also looked at the chinese prediction charts when I was expecting dd2,just for fun as we didn't mind if we got a boy or girl. The chinese prediction chart predicted a girl for dd2 and when I checked it for when dd1 was born it also predicted a girl. I know other people who used the chinese prediciton chart and got the baby it predicted.

My friend is pregnant just now and the chart predicts a boy for her, in a few weeks time she'll have her scan and find out what she's having, I'm intrigued to find out if it's right or not.

What does the ring over the wrist have to do for a boy/girl? Ive heard of doing it over your tummy.

The chinese chart is confusing though - some websites say you should use your chinese age (ie 1 or 2 years more than your actualy age) and other websites say to use your actual age, even tho the chart is identical. SO I'm not entirely sure how this works...
