Can anyone work out how long my cycle actually is and if I peed on a stick today whether it should be a dark line or am I still too early????

I have a line .
Really pleased but it's off the back of 2 miscarriages so I'm a bit anxious....

Right - my cycle used to be 28 days long like clockwork but then it got to 31 days long (few months ago) or occasionally if stressed, creep to 33 days.

Anyway - it's day 28 today and I have a line on an ebay cheapy. It's definitely there but I would put it in to the fainter category. I'm panicking because my last miscarriage was about 5 weeks and the line was fainter than my successful pregnancies and then it just faded away when I tested over a couple of days.

What are your thoughts??

Hi, if this turns out not to be a positive, then I recommend getting the ovulation testers from Boots, about £20 for a pack. These allow you to work out the length of your cycle. Although, as you rightly say, it may be uneven due to stress.

Not a scientific fact - but in my experience I don't think a fainter line matters. I didn't have anything the first time I tested and (wrongly) assumed I wasn't pregnant, this would have been the day my period was due. Tested again three days later (and four days later and five days later!) and got BFPs each time. The fact that we can now test early is both a blessing and a curse, I think.

I really hope this one works out for you.

A line is a line. If you don't know when you ovulated, you can't tell how early it is to test - and even if you did know, the time taken for implantation varies anyway.

I'd try with FMU with a First Response test.

Congrats!
