Hi im new to this and would love some advice...

DH and I are trying for our 1st baby

I already have a DD 15 now and DS 10 by previous husband.

I had HELLP syndrome with DD and she was born at 24 weeks!! Then 12 weeks after I had my DS I developed a clott in my brain very scary, I had loads of tests and they discovered I have a clotting disorder.

I was told I would need to have 40mg Clexane daily if I got pregnant again (this was about 5 years ago when I lived in Somerset)

We have since moved to Cornwall and I was wondering if anyone knew or could reccomend a consultant at Deriford hospital.

Also any advice on Clexane would be great.

Thank you

Didn't want your post to go unanswered as I live in the Plymouth area. I've seen a female consultant at Derriford called Dr. Montegue - she did CVS on me last year and recently an amnio test (won't bore you with the details but have had a series of genetic problems). Anyway she seemed very pleasant and in my experiences a good communicator - hopefully someone will be along shortly who has had more detailed experience. All the best
