well you could try onion syrup - sounds disgusting but tastes rather like caramelised onion pickle.
Take one onion, cut it in half, place both halves in a bowl, cut side up and put about 1 tbsp of sugar on each one. LEave it for about 2-3 hours until the sugar has all gone into syrup.
Helps to soothe the throat.
If you weren't pg I would recommend Sambucol from a health food shop but their website recommends avoidance in pg because of lack of data to ensure safety.
You could take echinacea but read this first.
Other than that, take extra vitamin C and honey for the throat.

Honey and lemon? And paracetamol to get any fever down.

In our house, when one of us has a cold, we always cook up a good chilli. Lots of garlic (has antibiotic properties), chilli, ginger, cumin (supposed to be good for coughs), lemon juice, plus loads of veggies for their vitamins and antioxidants. It doesn't have to be a hot chilli, just enough to get your nose running. It's even better if you leave the chilli to mature for a day. DH even asks for it when feeling on the brink of being under the weather and he normally scoffs at anything vaguely old wivesish.

I've heard good stuff about the Onion Syrup from Eastern European friends.

Oh - and I'm a fan of orange juice lollies. Not as naughty as ice cream but a nod to being healthy and helps the throat a bit.
