In my lower tummy, it's a burning pain mainly with some cramps. No other symptoms but also I have had no morning sickness today. I am worried, should I contact someone?

Hi Chocolate,

Have you had any bleeding at all? I'm 5/6 weeks gone and have had some mild cramping with the off sharp pain, but apparently this is normal.

If you're really worried, get yourself down the docs/hospital ASAP just to be checked out.

Hope all is okay though, big virtual hugs

No bleeding no. It seems to come and go and is a bit milder right now. It sounds crazy but I wish I would feel sick again - sort of reassuring!

It could also be an infection, I had one early on in this pg and it gave a lot of pain, cramping and a bleed. As long as your symptoms don't become progressively more severe then see your GP tomorrow. GPs often fill in the paperwork to get an early scan anyway and might give you antibiotics to knock any possible infection on the head.

I had something similar at about 10 weeks and in the end concluded it was trapped wind - quite frightening at the time though. As with everything, if you are worried ring your midwife or GP.

Rang nhs 24. Didn't say much, just to take it easy. Might see Dr tomorrow.
