Right...where did my baby get the steel toe capped boots he's been whacking me with all weekend???

I will need new kidneys (and everything else in the surrounding areas) if he's going to carry on like this for the next 9 weeks!!!

I swear mine is regurlarly dancing a rumba in there! Two hours of non stop 'wriggeling' and I start wishing it would just go back to the kicking and punching.

I remember not too long ago posting that i wasnt feeling much movement. Now i have 2 babies doing cartwheels, starjumps, possibly wrestling each other and generally kicking 7 shades out of me. Only 10 weeks left oh joy lol.

pipinmybelly · 31/05/2010 21:58

yep another one here...used to smile at the little flutters that developed into little kicks and movements...am now 31+4 and he is kicking hell out of me ALL the time!! i have to sit with my back arched coz he's contantly in my ribs, may even be using them as a xylophone, whaever he is doing, it does not feel pleasant!! and he does what feels like somersaults and my whole belly shifts...it looks gross like an alien is trying to break free....now i know i would be worried sick if i didnt feel him move all the time but really, is there any need to batter me 24/7? and like OP iv got 9 weeks of this, 9 weeks of him getting stronger with less room!! grinning and bearing comes to mind

Hi Ladies,

You have no idea how good this thread makes me feel. At 21+4 I am still not feeling much and was beginning to feel cheated that I wasn't going to get those experiences of feeling actuall kicks, but maybe there is time yet.

Everything you read says that by 20 weeks you should be feeling everything but I am still only at the little flutters that I have had for about 3 weeks.

PS. sorry for revelling in your discomfort!!!

storminabuttercup · 01/06/2010 21:55

i'm 27+6 and convinced this baby is trying to kick its way out through my tummy. the little flutters are now like karate kid on steroids

but i get worried when i dont feel anything and start prodding and poking my tummy to get some movement ....

poor baby cant win

catherinewho · 02/06/2010 12:38

lol well at least I'm not the only one then!

I must admit though, being able to poke him into moving is nicer than not being able to tell when or if he's going to kick! My nieces (aged 7 and 5) think it's a great party trick!

I'm 23+4 and started feeling bubbling at 15 weeks. By 18 weeks it had become serious kicks and it's getting bigger and better. I've realised that while I'm at work and leaning against something, she takes great pleasure in doing some flying kicks at whatever I'm leaning against. One good thing is that she only kicks till about 12.30 at night then wakes up again at about 8.30 so I'm getting good long sleeps. I hope that last for the next 18 years!

You think you have it bad ????

I am 25+4 with triplets and just 3 weeks ago I was moaning I couldnt hardly feel them.

Well I certainly can now ha ha, they take it in turns to give a little kick or punch and over the last 2 weeks those gentle nudges are getting stronger, triplet 2 (Thomas)is kicking now (He can tell Im moaning hehe).

Favourite trick is to balance the remote control on my tummy, they cant kick it off just yet but I reckon they will soon.
