Cheapish over-bump Maternity jeans?

Do these exist?? I don't want to spend a fortune if avoidable but am having trouble finding some, especially ones with my leg size (29"). Am watching out on ebay but any signposts elsewhere would be great!

Was just going to suggest ebay, I've spent the same on 10 pairs as I did last time on 1 and out of those about 4 are decent. It's hard to tell how things will go. I'm expecting some of them that are not comfy yet to be ok later on and vice versa. Last time I got mine from topshop for £40.

NickiSue · 30/05/2010 11:26

Thanks Nagoo. Think I might stick with Ebay then, if I get some that are just no good I can always relist them and see if they are any use to someone else. Just having some probs finding over bump at 29" - trust me to be a short ass with a huge um everything else lol!!

new look had a very good range online when I looked

NickiSue · 30/05/2010 12:12

Thanks- I'll have a nosy.
Incidently- as soon as I saw your reply strawberrycake Strawberry Shortcake came on TinyPop which DS is watching lol. Completely random but funny coincidence :p

Peacocks have a good and very reasonable maternity range.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/05/2010 12:23

H&M have some nice-looking ones, IF you are thin of thigh (unlike me!). The thing I found most frustrating about maternity wear last time round was the lack of jeans for women with curvy thighs.

beanlet · 30/05/2010 17:15

Depends on your definition of cheap. I really like my Gap over-the-bump jeans, and I think they were about £30.

ernie1981 · 30/05/2010 18:22

dorothy perkins have fairly cheap ones too

ronx · 30/05/2010 18:24

You are not wrong about the H&M jeans, reshape. I am a size 16. I could not get my thighs into the size 20 /.

Missus84 · 30/05/2010 18:26

I got both under and over the bump Mamas and Papas jeans for short legs on ebay for a couple of quid each.

scgd · 30/05/2010 18:29

I got a pair from Next for £28 and also a pair from Red Herring at Debenhams for £30. Both great quality and I'm in them daily so definately getting my money worth!

imissredwine · 30/05/2010 21:19

Little woods had some really good ones.
very generously sized...

Thanks all- I hope this has helped others as well as me!

My problem is we have none of these shops near me (35 minutes drive to nearest decent shopping centre etc and I don't drive!) so rely on internet shopping and other people's recommendations. Plenty of ideas for online one there.

Beanlet should have been more explicit about my level of cheap (Im very cheap!). I'm looking at the £20 or under mark so discounts/sales etc always a good idea lol!

Formes are good - I think they're quite expensive new but if you can get second-hand they're comfortable and stay up.

imkeepingmum · 31/05/2010 09:49

Try Peacocks, I have some from there and I think only paid about £16 for them

nunnie · 31/05/2010 09:50

Matalan do some for a reasonable price, I went for a nosy, but they don't do my leg length (34"), also new look have some nice ones again no to overpriced.
Also next sale must be due to start soon if you are able to wait a few weeks ;)

dizzymac · 31/05/2010 10:00

I agree about the Peacocks ones. I've lived in mine for about 6 mths now. they've washed and dried well and are really comfy. I'm due on saturday so hopefully I can try some new ones soon!

clairejs · 31/05/2010 11:08

I found that new look although stylish and affordable, i couldn't fit into my normal maternity size like other stores, had to jump up a size and then they look too big. Hear Hear on peacocks though, they're jeans were by far the best and cheapest!

choccybiccylover · 31/05/2010 11:13

I feel your pain! I'm a 28 " leg and could only get a pair from New Look on line, but when I received them they were too big in the tummy area ( I should've bought the size below). I now can't find any size 8 28" leg jeans anywhere- it has become a major annoyance for me. : ( Think am just going to buy £10 jeans from new look in standard size (up to a 14 now at 30 wks), and just keep buying a size up as I get bigger.
