Low bump at 32 weeks

Keep being told that my 32 week bump is very low and am I sure my dates are right .

I am also feeling quite a bit of pressure when walking and can't get very far. This is my 4th pregnancy (last one was twins 8 years ago).

Could it be that I am further on that I thought ? Growth scan at 28 weeks showed an approx. 4 lber and baby was head down OR is my pelvic floor just completely knackered?? Any ideas?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my first and everyone I have seen this week has commented on how much lower my bump is. You obviously have a lot more experience of this than me but I had thought that you have a few weeks after the baby drops before it pops out (I hope so anyway as still at work!) It may therefore be that your dates are right, your baby is just getting ready!

I am now pregnant with my third baby but in both of my other pregnancies I carried really low. The heads were engaged by 32 weeks and I was waddling around not quite being able to close my legs! On both occasions the babies were a little early, not more than a week and they were both under 8lbs. Some people just 'carry low' I think!

Thanks for the replies. I can't remember getting as many comments about this with my previous pregnancies so that's probably why I am a little paranoid!! Even with my twins, I can't remember being this uncomfortable when walking, probably just that I am an old codger now.

Wish people would just shut up and tell me I'm blooming .

My bump dropped significantly at 30 weeks, previously it was really high (I am now 32 weeks). Dont't think the head is fully engaged, as don't have that "football between the legs" feeling. Something is definitely down low and can't walk too far now.

Has DS at 34 weeks last time though, so just waiting it out, hoping I can cook this one a little longer!

However, some of my friends have always carried low, I so think some people have lower bumps in comparison to others.

i practically dragged both my bumps along the floor.

still went 2 weeks over with both and was induced.

ah the irony.

I am apparently carrying low. I am 36 weeks, and everyone keeps telling me 'ooh, youre very low, are you going to last another 4 weeks'
I wasn't this low with first. It feels as though my stomach is hanging?
Can't be weak pelvic floor, as due to a back injury, I have been doing loads of pelvic exercises for months!!
Hope I last another 4 weeks, as not ready yet!!
