Swollen feet, recomended shoes?

My feet have swelled like a balloon filled with mashed potato.

Have taken to wearing last year?s Berkies from TKMaxx.

Have been looking online at pregnancy shoes; recomended ones are Mephisto sandals, earth shoes and some others, problem is at £80 a pop that's a bit frinkin' expensive.

A friend suggested sketchers. Neighbour said about crock shoes but I didn't like those when I tried them.

Anyone found a good shoe that doesn't cost a bomb or look like a granny shoe?

I wear Tevas sandals a lot. They don't look like a granny shoe but they're really ugly. Good arch suppoort and very adjustable. I wear them a lot anyway not just when I'm pg.Machine washable too.

I like wearing crocs, I find them very comfy. I am not talking about those most popular crocs type ? there is plenty of variety which you wouldn?t know they are from crocs family unless you read the label. They look like normal shoes just made from rubber. The only problem I can?t wear them at work as the feet sweats when with tights. Otherwise, I would recommend them very much! (not a sale promotion here just a genuine opinion of 17 weeks preggie)

i have a pair of birkenstocks that i love, or a similar paif from clarks. best thing is as soon as you sit down (eg at a desk) you can kick them off. have had to adjust them to make them bigger than usual but at least i can wear them afterwards. had them both before pregnancy anyway.

I'm wearing my Reef flipflops a lot - they're so comfy and I don't have to bend down to put them on! They're not cheap, but I wear mine to death. If you get the ones with molded soles, they actually provide a lot of support and as the poster above said, it's great to be able to kick them off!

Animal flipflops, dead comfy and less than £15 but I have to throw them away after the birth as they remind me of how hideous being pregnant is, now 20 weeks and just invested in new pair!

Thanks for replies re: flip flops - can't do thongs in any form. Just can't do it. One of those things. That's why I have the berkies but am looking for something a bit more comfy but not blue rinse.
