missed mini pill - chance of pregnancy?

Hi guys

uhm, im very stressed out at the moment cos I seem to have missed one mini pill (noriday) three days ago and after my partner and I had sex, i realized that i didn't take one last night as usual so i took it immediately (41 hours after sex) i think..so to sum it up, i miss two pill in a month and my next period is due on/or around 24th June. My cycle is usually 36-40 days..so am i safe or should i continue to take the rest of the pack or not till my period? I'm just worried that if i am, will i be at risk of ectopic pregnancy because of the mini pill..please help, im so badly confused

Poor you because of the ectopic risk, I'd personally ditch the rest of the pack and practice safe sex until your period i.e. condoms. I guess it might mess up your cycle for a little while, but better that than something horrid happening and then you beating yourself about it.
There is a chance you could be pregnant, you had unprotected sex because you didn't follow the pill packet instructions but then you know that anyway.
Stay calm; chances are your body had enough of the pill in your body to keep you protected, but stranger things have happened!
I wish I could give you more comfort... Is the mini pill your only option? It must be hard to remember to take a pill at the same time every day. I hope everything works out for you xx

Thanks..i will try stay calm and do as you suggest by using condoms next time till i get my period..i guess its first time i really muck it up, only been on mini pill for 6 months so far and yes its my only option cos i have family history of blood clots. I guess i will have to convince my partner to wear condoms for three weeks, he really hate them but i guess we have no choice..as much as we want kids, its not the right time ay

im on CD13 according to mymonthlycycle website..i missed pill 1 on sunday 23rd May, took it next day and pill 2 on wednesday 26th may and took it today 24th may..had nookie with my partner on 19th,22rd and today..... so am i good or not?

20th pill
21st pill
22nd pill + sex
23rd missed pill
24th pill + missed pill
25th pill
26th missed pill
27th pill + missed pill + sex

I would say that there is a very small chance that you could get pregnant this month and if you want to avoid this then you should get the MAP. It is unlikely, as you have very long cycles but if it is a really bad time for you to get pregnant then better safe than sorry.

And I would be looking at alternative contraception, since you missed two pills in one month. It is perhaps not the right method for you.

And I am jealous of how much nookie you are getting
