Not the nicest of topics...

I'm 11+4. I still have loose stools. Not watery as such, just very...erm...messy. I go every morning like clockwork, and occasionally later in the day, but later in the day it's usually very tiny and a bit firmer. No mucus, as far as I can see. I eat a lot of fibre - more than starch probably - and I was always regular and on the loose side before.

Should I be worried? I went to bed last night worrying it was an infection...that gave me lovely dreams!

Ta very much

I've had this too - I've read that you can go either way, so I've not been too bothered and prefer it to constipation. I think it's quite common and only a problem if very watery and several times a day.

I've heard it's the hormones relaxing your body and also, I don't know whether you take any prenatal supplements, but it could be that.

Hi, had exactly the same as you between 6 and 7 weeks and didn't feel comfortable leaving the house!! Settled down after this and now only have occasionally but things def are not the same as pre- pregnancy. I wasn't too worried as I kept drinkng lots of water to stop dehydration and kept rich foods well away! Didn't seem to harm the little one as we had a v active little baby at the last scan! May be worth seeing yr GP if it continues, mine said it was just a pregnancy symptom

I've never been worried about leaving the house - it's not an 'urgent' call to the toilet. It's just not 'firm.' Sorry tmi. But as I said I'm week 11 and I've had it all the way through...
