Morning all. I am only 5 weeks and apart from the obvious I have no symptoms. This is my third and I can't really remember my symptoms from the last two. I do know that I didn't get MS with either and only got sore boobs with my first. I did have a slight metallic taste yesterday and the day before tingling boobs but apart from that, nothing.

Anyone else not really have symptoms at this point? I'm sure I'll be regretting this when they hit with a vengeance but wanted some reassurance, hopefully

I didn't get any till 6 /7weeks and then got every sympton going, some people don't ever get any but you are prob a litle early to be worrying, enjoy feeling normal for a few days more and hey, maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who gets off lightly!

miamix · 26/05/2010 10:23

I don't have any symptoms either - slightly sore boobs and seem to be getting a bit of indigestion - I'm 5 weeks too and wish I felt more pregnant. It's worrying me!

It's that weird inbetweeny stage until you either get symptoms or have a scan that shows you there is something there! I'm not overly concerned as I had 2 relatively easy pregnancies before and hope this one is the same but maybe the odd nausea would help me feel better!

This is my first so I have no idea what to expect :\

Although you saying your previous pregnancies were easy makes me feel better - I assume you didn't get sickness!

goodlifemummy · 26/05/2010 13:05

I had no symptoms AT ALL with my twins 5 years ago, and I am now almost 10 weeks and all I have is aching boobs that look like torpedos, as my DH kindly said! No MS of any kind. Can't wait for a scan so I can see proof of a healthy pregnancy! Hope all goes well x

Seems strange to wish sickness upon ourselves seeing as if we do then we'll be wishing it away!

Miamix - no sickness at all in both previous, just huge and tired (well with 2nd one anyway!)

I've booked in for a private viability scan on 18th June, just far too impatient to wait for 12 weeks

I had no symptoms until about 13 weeks! I had slightly painful boobs when I ran, but nothing that out of the ordinary.

To be honest, sitting here, at 26 weeks, until I get up and see/feel the bump I'm not sure I feel that different even now.

KelBel13 · 27/05/2010 11:07

I'm 16 weeks and dont have many symptoms. My boobs were a bit sore at first I spose, but that wore off ages ago. No MS. Have had tiredness, but I'm a tired sort of person at the best of times anyway!

I know how you feel. Its strange to wish unpleasant symptoms on ourselves but I understand your need for re-assurance. I've had several scans now so I know everything is ticking along just dandy. But still would be nice to have some kind of symptoms!

Congrats and good luck with everything.

I'm glad I found this thread. I'm nearly 11 weeks and haven't had any MS at all. Sure I feel more tired but nothing that a small afternoon nap doesn't help with. Would you believe I've felt guilty about this?

goodlifemummy did you suspect you were having twins before you officially found out? If you did, how so?

Also, has anyone besides me had cravings for fresh things? I'm having trouble cooking at the moment as all I want is fruit and salad. Yesterday, I ate 3/4 of a lettuce. I feel like Rapunzel's mum.

knackered76 · 27/05/2010 21:08

LLKH - definitely feel worse if I don't eat fresh stuff, trouble is by the time I've got the two munchkins to bed I'm too tired to bother making something fresh so end up eating not that well and then feel a bit rubbish when in bed that night!

I'm being referred for an early scan due to pain on the right side, at least that will tell me if I'm pregnant or making the whole thing up

LLKH I craved salad for a few weeks too, literally couldn't get enough of it. I'd have so much on my plate it was falling off, then have some more. Then have another for tea!! Still, better than craving pies I guess?!!!

Ozziegirly · 28/05/2010 00:24

I could sit and eat a whole red pepper - just that lovely sweet and juicyness!

Apart from that my main craving was pickled onions with cheese - and not really a craving, I reckon I like them normally but pregnancy allowed me to give in....

LLKH · 29/05/2010 17:00

Wish you hadn't mentioned pickled onions. It made me think of those little cocktail onions and wouldn't they be perfect in a salad?

starshaker · 29/05/2010 17:12

Im another 1 who is having twins and i had very few symptoms. MS kicked in at about 8 weeks and lasted till about 16. Other than that i was tired. My dd on the other hand was hellish. Had ms from 4 weeks till 3 days after she was born. Im 27 weeks tomorrow and still feel sick very occasionally now but mainly sore and uncomfy. Enjoy being symptom free x
