does a total fast mean gaviscon as well?

for my gtt? i cant sleep without gaviscon!!!

for my gtt i just cannot eat from midnight - could you not take gaviscon before this? x

my leaflet said specifically no gaviscon from the night before (9pm) which was HELL for me coz I have to have at least a shot of it before I go to bed. Had hideous heartburn all morning too despite not eating anything.
I was only allowed to sip water.
Damn the GTT!

I would say no to Gaviscon - they wouldn't even let me take paracetamol prior to mine (I had a shocking cold/headache and arrived in tears because I felt so ill!)!

Take it with you to the hospital though as you can probably take it after the final blood test...I then had to wait AGES for the results.
