Hello.

We're really rather keen to find some pregnant MNers, in particular, to try this Appletiser drink and add feedback on MN.

Thanks so much, MNHQ

"a) haven't tried or bought Appletiser in the last year"

Is that specifically Appletiser, or any drinks from the Appletiser family?

I ask because it was either the first Bounty or Emma's Diary 'Mum-to-be' pack that contained a small bottle of Peartiser in it, which I think is a pretty standard addition?

So it sounds like anyone who acquired the pack is likely to be excluded... Unless they had their bottle of Peartiser nicked or didn't drink it for some other reason!

nunnie · 25/05/2010 14:33

I am not a first time mum but don't see why that matters so applied anyway.

nunnie · 25/05/2010 14:35

I haven't had my pack so I am okay.

nunnie · 25/05/2010 14:35

I haven't had my pack so I am okay I think.

JodieO · 25/05/2010 14:42

Done and I'm pregnant so I hope I get chosen!

WillowM2B · 25/05/2010 14:54

Tried recently.

Appletiser and Peartiser during pregnancy = heartburn hell. For me anyway.

vmcd28 · 25/05/2010 15:27

is it just me who's slightly nervous of giving my name, email address, phone number, address, age, etc etc etc to a website I havent even heard of? Or am I being too suspicious?

ReshapeWhileDamp · 25/05/2010 15:27

Ooh, yes please! I like Appletiser, but probably haven't bought any in ages, since it's a bit pricey.

nunnie · 25/05/2010 15:32

I haven't had any for ages either used to love it but it is a bit pricey I agree. I have given my details out ro so many places recently to get freebies that I think if I am going to be hounded it will happen now anyway, so one more doesn't seem to bother me.

Don't think I'll get picked as I am pregnant with 2nd not 1st, but can only try I suppose.

AnnMumsnet · 25/05/2010 15:47

Hi guys - it's just not tried Appletiser in the last year I think

We're looking for any pregnant MNer not just first time preg - it's just Appletiser are interested in what pregnant women think of it as a suitable non alcoholic drink.

vmcd28 - your details just go to me at HQ and then if you are selected I will send them onto Appletiser for dispatch of the product. All names etc are treated v carefully.
HTH! Ann MNHQ

nunnie · 25/05/2010 15:51

Oh okay, sorry I must have misred
So still in with a chance

Spirael · 25/05/2010 16:04

Guess I'll give it a shot then, if the freebie Peartiser from back at the beginning of the year doesn't count. I always enjoyed Appletiser as a child!

AnnMumsnet · 25/05/2010 16:08

nunnie - actually just double checked the surveymonkey wording and it did say preg for first time, but it should have said preg at all (have now amended)! Good spot

JazzieJeff · 25/05/2010 16:11

Aaah it sounds lush! Pregnant with my first and I am so sick of bloody squash, hope I get chosen!

vmcd28 · 25/05/2010 17:14

AnnMumsnet, thanks for clarifying - I've been caught out before with this type of thing

MrsGangly · 25/05/2010 17:17

Good advertising though! I had forgotten about Appletiser (didn't it used to be called just Appletise) and have been drinking ginger beer when we are out. Getting a bit tired of it now!

Octaviapink · 25/05/2010 18:36

I'm SO keen to find something else to drink - going out to the pub with non-pregnant friends is dire. Thank God for Fentimans, though even their ginger beer is starting to pall.

nunnie · 26/05/2010 09:22

Bump for anyone who hasn't seen this and wants to apply.

Deanna1977 · 16/06/2010 14:08

Helen

I got a pack yesterday! I wasn't expecting it as I didn't have an email from Mumsnet confirming that I had been chosen. It was a nice surprise. Thank you.

How do I do the feedback?

moonstorm · 16/06/2010 14:20

Hi

I got my pack, but the pear one had leaked everywhere. Should I contact them do you think and how should I do this?

Octaviapink · 16/06/2010 15:32

My pomegranate one had leaked too - I emailed MNet and they said lots of people had had that so they were talking to Appletise about it.

nunnie · 16/06/2010 16:19

Mumsnet will email you with feedback thread at a later date (check spam).
If you had any leakages of breakages you need to email mumsnet as on the product test and feeback thread there are a few with broken bottles and leaks. Also some people didn't get vouchers and some did, so you need to email if you didn't get those either.
Sorry I had too much spare time yesterday and spent most of it ont he product test/feedback thread about this.

mumatron · 16/06/2010 16:30

i got my pack yest and they are almost all gone

have to agree that being pg and drinking it is not good for the heartburn though

Floopy21 · 16/06/2010 22:21

I got mine today, it was packaged beautifully with ribbons n all! Pear one's lush

moonstorm · 16/06/2010 23:40

Where is the product test and feedbck thread? Does anyone have a link? Thanks
