adnexal masses......?

I've just had a look at my pregnancy record book, and the details of the scan say, "Stomach seen" and "adnexal masses seen". Um, what? I looked this up online, and wasnt too thrilled with what I read. I have tried to phone the EPU to ask, but why oh why would the sonographer not have told me this?
Also, has anyone had this, and what happened next?

Sounds like 'adnexal mass' refers to you not the baby - might just be a corpus luteum cyst, which is normal in early pregnancy. In any case, usually safe to assume that if it was anything at all to worry about they'd have mentioned it!

OK, so the hospital just phoned and said it is NOTHING to worry about AT ALL. She said if they had been concerned they'd have got me back in a few weeks to check. Ugh, panic over again. I tell you, I feel like i'm living on a knife edge with this pregnancy...

Unless anyone has had a different experience of this?
