9 weeks with some bleeding

Hi all, I'm 9 weeks today and am having a little pink bleeding, just when I wipe after I've been to the loo. I know this is similar to lots of posts on here but it's my first and I'm nervous! I've had almost no other symptoms and I feel OK, just a really slight ache on my left hip (but barely anything). Anyone else had a similar experience?

So sorry you are feeling worried. Find out if you have an EPAU in your area - Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit - sometimes you can self-refer, sometimes you need a referral (GP, midwife or A&E can refer). Any bleeding at all is an indication for referral. They will offer you a scan to check if all is ok. Usually you get seen very quickly but it varies from area to area. Good luck and fingers crossed for you.

I also had a bleed at 10 weeks and went straight to my GP, all was well and I am now in week 40 and ready to explode!!!

Self refer to epac/epau if you can, go to GP or A&E if you can't self refer.

This may be nothing, may settle and all might be ok with the pregnancy (I hope that's the case), but it could be a sign that things are not going well - and I'd be concerned about the pain in the side - which MAY indicate an ectopic pregnancy. It probably doesn't - many women have side pain which is actually from a luteal cyst on the ovary, which is quite normal and helps maintain the pregnancy for the first few weeks, HOWEVER, you should get checked out to make sure it's not ectopic, just in case.

Thanks everyone, went to an EPAC today and seems I'm only actually 5 1/2 weeks! Bit confusing as the swanky test I used 5 weeks ago with conception indicator said I was 2-3 weeks at the time? ah well. I go back in two weeks for another scan as there's not much to see right now
