Help - went on trampoline at weekend!

I know I'm probably being stupid but I went on a trampoline on Saturday. Only bounced gently (no jumps!) and held on to my bump. Was only on there for less than a minute but now I'm worried that I may have harmed my baby.
Please tell me I'm being silly!

You're being silly.

Yes, you are being silly.
By the time your reach 40 weeks you are going to wish that a bit of gentle jostling would get that baby out of you!

I went to Alton Towers when I was 2 months pregnant. I didn't realise I was pg obviously. My periods were all over the place at that time, so I didn't even notice it was missing.

Dd1 is fine. As mad as a box of frogs, but I don't think Alton Towers is to blame for that

You and your baby will be fine.

I got on a trampoline when I was about 10 weeks without thinking and then panicked when I saw the 'No pregnant women' sign. But I tell you what being on my bus to work and back every day is far more bouncy - it was awful while I was having ms! I'm sure my baby will come out as a little jumping bean.

If you went on a trampoline while pg and your pelvic floor held up - I salute you

Falsley · 24/05/2010 13:02

mamatomany · 24/05/2010 14:38

I was just thinking i'd have had a tena lady moment if I tried trampolining, OP you are just showing off !

WillowM2B · 24/05/2010 14:40

LOL, forget the pelvic floor issues - I would not even be able to get my bulk on a trampoline, and as for getting off, I believe it would take a crane of some nature...
