I am 30 weeks and at my midwife appointment this week I have not put any weight on at all during my pregnancy. Infact I am 1kg less than my booking appt weight.
I have a high BMI to start with but for the first time my midwife was a little concerned about it. She seems to think the baby is growing fine so I'm not overly worried about it but she said she is glad I have a growth scan at 32 weeks just to check.
I have not changed my eating habits at all except I have dropped the alcohol and I eat more friut than before.
Any similar experiences? is this normal?
They told me to try not to put more than a stone on during my pregnancy. Well at least I'm doing that!

if you started the pregnancy overweight/obese (in BMI terms) then its not normally that much of a worry, like you say youve got the scan in 2 weeks time and they can check the baby is growing ok.
dropping alcohol out of your diet can often lead to weight loss, and it sounds like youve adjusted your diet really well with more fruit etc, so your doing all the right things.

its not that unusual, plenty of women who are overweight/with a high BMI put on little or no weight, and sometimes loose weight in pregnancy. as long as the baby is growing fine you havent really got anything to worry about.

wait until your scan in 2 weeks time, im sure everything will be fine and you can be reassured and stop worrying.
