32 weeks: Uncontrollable shaking in the night again

I had another episode of uncontrollable shaking in the night last night (it happened a week ago too) - woke me up and lasted about ten minutes at 2am. No Braxton-Hicks which accompanied it the last time it happened.

Went to Doc again today and she was mystified - bp low (95/60), urine clear, temp low-normal. She said it sounds like an infection somewhere but there's no other sign of it. I'm booked in for some blood tests next week to look for signs of inflammation etc.

Any one else experienced anything like this?

Just to let you know, I had low blood pressure 60/90 in my first pregnancy, I used to feint all over the place but not had anything like this. Hope the tests reveal something helpful x x x.

I had a couple of brief episodes of shaking at night - before I found out I was anaemic. But imagine you would have been tested fairly recently?

You know, reading your post does vaguely remind me of a similar episode. I think this happened to me during one of my pgs. I didn't have problems with BP or anything. I suppose I assumed it was some sort of disruption to the blood flow - you know how the blood has to go to the baby? Ugh! Course you do! I can't explain it! Anyway, I was fine and so were all my babies. Take comfort from the fact that the GP doesn't know what it is. If it was something bad, surely she would know about it?

Thanks for your thoughts Lonelymum and Redhelen. I am booked in for a load of blood tests on Tuesday but I have only had a load done a couple of weeks ago, and everything was ok then. I'm hoping it's just a freak event (or two). Thanks for your reassurance!
